They’ve really fallen off the radar lately, making us think they were never real to begin with. Only they have to be real, don’t they? After all, it’s been almost a year since Samsung unveiled the second-gen Galaxy Tabs and it’s not like the Koreans to completely abandon a line of products just like that. Even if they’ve never been huge hits and even if the Galaxy Note family has a lot more potential. But if you needed additional proof several new Galaxy Tabs are in fact in the works, here it is – three devices, each with three different variations, have been spotted getting their DLNA certifications. The trio carries the GT-P32xx, GT-P52xx and GT-P82xx model numbers, where xx is replaced by 00, 10 and 20 for 3G, Wi-Fi only and 4G LTE-enabled versions. The tabs are to be called Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 3 Plus, if our sources are to be trusted (and we think they are). The DLNA listings only confirm the gadgets exist and they’re close to entering production, while the spec sheets remain big fat mysteries. However, chances are the Tab 3 Plus will resemble the Nexus 10 and be the leader of this pack, while the other two will be focused more towards the budget niche. That means we can expect the 10-inch Tab 3 Plus to come with a 2,560 x 1,600 pixels resolution panel, Android 4.2 and a quad-core Exynos processor (even if a dual-core Exynos 5 is also in contention). The Tab 3 7.0 will probably pack a 1,280 x 800 pix res display and a dual-core 1.5 GHz CPU, while as far as the Tab 3 10.1 goes we’d rather not speculate. No trusted source has provided us with even the smallest nugget of info relating to this 10-incher, and, to be frank, we don’t understand the point of releasing another big tab next to the Nexus 10, GNote 10.1 and Tab 3 Plus. Do you? How about the other two, do they sound like something you would be interested in, say, two months from now? Should Samsung just focus on phones and Galaxy Note tablets? JAKARTA - Civitas academica Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya tidak pernah kehabisan inovasi dalam menciptakan mobil listrik sebagai alternatif bahan bakar minyak (BBM) yang semakin terbatas. Setelah berbagai seri Sapu Angin, kini ITS siap dengan karya terbaru mereka mobil berjenis 4-Seater Electric City Car. Sayangnya, mahakarya terbaru ITS itu belum memiliki nama. Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Mendikbud) Mohammad Nuh pun didapuk langsung untuk memberikan nama kepada mobil berwarna putih tersebut. Dari segi biaya, pembuatan Mobil Listrik ITS ini menghabiskan dana mencapai Rp400 juta. Salah seorang inisiator mobil tersebut Muhammad Nur Yuniarto menyebut, pembuatan mobil ini berawal dari keprihatinan ITS terhadap besarnya subsidi untuk sektor transportasi, terutama bagi kendaraan bahan bakar minyak. Alasan selanjutnya adalah terdapat wacana ketidakseimbangan konsumsi listrik antara siang hari dan malam hari. ''Dari sana timbul gagasan untuk memanfaatkan listrik di malam hari untuk mengisi kendaraan listrik,'' ujar Nur, seperti disitat dari ITS Online, Jumat (25/1/2013). Riset Mobil Listrik ITS ini diawali dengan proyek konversi kendaraan dari PT Dirgantara Indonesia (DI) bernama Gang Car. Kemudian inspirasi selanjutnya berasal dari mobil listrik kedua adalah Sapu Angin Electric Zero Emision Vehicle (SAE_ZEV) yang juga berhasil meraih posisi kedua di ajang Indonesia Energy Marathon Competition (IEMC) 2013. Keberhasilan kedua mobil tersebut mendorong Nur dan tim untuk membuat mobil yang lebih dekat dengan pasar. Maka dipilihlah mobil Sport City Car dengan 4-seater. (rfa)

Merek mobil asal Jerman ini tak pernah main-main terkait pencapaian penjualan produknya. Benarkah?

Carmall.com - Setelah berhasil memecahkan rekor penjualan di tahun 2012, merek mobil premium Audi AG kembali menuai kesuksesan lewat peningkatan penjualan sebesar 16,3% atau sebesar 111.750 unit mobil di seluruh dunia, selama Januari 2013.

Model Audi A4 dan Q5 menjadi pendongkrak utama penjualan mobil Jerman ini. Pertumbuhan paling mencolok terjadi di Cina 38,5% , di Amerika 7,5% dan Eropa 8,6%.

Luca de Meo , Kepala Sales & Marketing AUDI AG menyadari kondisi perekonomian di Eropa masih penuh dengan tantangan. Meskipun begitu, ia mengatakan pihaknya berhasil melalui tantangan itu lewat penjualan memuaskan di seluruh dunia.

"Kami memiliki SUV yang sudah terkenal, ditambah dengan keluaran baru Audi A3 family. Beberapa line-up itu turut mendorong peningkatan pertumbuhan di tahun 2013," jelas Luca de Meo.

Tahun ini pelanggan Audi di Cina naik sebesar 38,5% atau sebanyak 37.678 pelanggan. Jika pada tahun lalu, pada perayaan imlek di Cina penjualan Audi melemah, berbeda dengan tahun ini. Imlek tahun ini yang jatuh pada 10 Februari lalu, tak menyurutkan penjualan Audi di Cina, antara lain Audi A4 (30%), Q5 (55,1%), dan A6 L. Sementara itu ada sekitar 13.657 pelanggan yang membeli model sedan mewah long-wheelbase, tumbuh 52,9%.

Model midsize jenis A4, A5 dan Q5 juga alami kenaikan penjualan cukup signifikan di seluruh pasar dunia, yaitu sekitar 50.800 unit atau naik 24,6%. Sedangkan varian A1 Sportback dan Q3 ikut terkerek naik sebesar 8,6%

Laju pertumbuhan penjualan juga terjadi di negara asal Audi, yaitu Jerman. Mulai dari Q5 70,1% menjadi 1.553 unit, A4 family 2.100 unit. Secara keseluruhan, Audi berhasil mencatat peningkatan 11,8% di pasar domestik atau 14.611 unit kendaraan.

Di Inggris, Audi berhasil menjual 9.878 unit naik 15,3%. Beberapa model yang menjadi 'penentu' keberhasil Audi di Inggris adalah A5 Sportback dan Q5.

Secara umum lonjakan permintaan mobil dari berbagai jenis dan varian terjadi di beberapa negara maju seperti Spanyol 2.754 unit, Italia 3.767 unit, Perancis 4.011 unit, Rusia 1.725 unit dan Amerika 10.056 unit. Permintaan model midsize meningkat sebesar 13,6% rata-rata per tahunnya. Sementara di Meksiko, penjualan tumbuh 48,6% dan di Brasil 25%.
